Goslings Walking
Filming wildlife in Alaska can be a great experience in the rugged remote wilderness of the Last Frontier and also in the middle of the city of Anchorage.
I have over the years done a great deal of remote work, so it has been good working close to home and observe the abundant wildlife in my backyard. These two Canada Goose goslings walking towards me as I was filming is the shoot I so much is trying to capture, not another ass shot of the moose walking away, but having the privilege to film the smallest of birds just hatched walking towards camera. These two guys most have just been hatched this week, still learning to feed themselves and a bit unsteady in their walk. Just behind them under watchful eye of the adult Canada Goose, making vocal
directions as to what the goslings can and should not do.
A privilege to be accepted by the adult Canada Goose to be so close to film their young, as if they came to show me their newborn chicks this summers day. Life in my Backyard, more to come.
